MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Yarra Riverkeeper Association is open to any person or group that supports the objectives and rules of the Association and, in the event of admission as that a member, is bound by the rules of the Association for the time being in force. BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Your membership of the Yarra Riverkeeper Association will help to protect the Yarra River through :
- Cooperative community action with other likeminded river groups,
- Representation to Government and regulatory authorities and, ultimately,
- Opportunity to learn more about the Yarra, its physical, environmental and social aspects and its importance to the community,
- Keeping you up-to-date on issues and developments concerning the health of the River,
- Providing activities that celebrate the Yarra, and help the community increase its awareness and appreciation of the River, and Supporting the appointment of a person to the position of Riverkeeper.
