“New South Wales’ Sapphire Coast is indeed a jewel,” says Mimosa Rocks Waterkeeper David Bright. “We are a very active community group looking after this magnificent piece of coast, and we could call on up to 150 people when we have an issue to resolve.” The Mimosa Rocks coast is between Tathra in the south and Bermagui in the north, with rivers, lakes and inlets of incomparable beauty. “We conduct information evenings, we do bird counts, we monitor dolphin activity, we keep an eye on estuary management.
